It’s certainly no secret that social media marketing vehicles such as FaceBook, Twitter and YouTube are integral components of every entrepreneur’s overall advertising system. Likewise, mobile media devices like the Blackberry and iPhone are in the palms of every world citizen who is even remotely tech-savvy. Combine the two – and you have one very effective recipe for promotional success.

Facts about mobile media devices and social media engagement:

Youtube has reported a 400% increase in the amount of videos uploaded from mobile devices.

More than 11,000,000 US Facebook users visit the social network via their mobile devices. They do so an average of 18 times each month for at least 10 minutes per session.

YouTube experiences almost five million visitors each month that access the site via its pre-installed native versions on iPhones, Androids, Palm Pre’s and others.

There are countless applications for accessing Twitter via various mobile media devices. Tens of millions of tweets are initiated each month in this manner.

Make no mistake that social media engagement is of paramount importance for creating success in small, medium and large businesses – and that mobile media devices are being utilized more and more for convenient, timesaving promotional purposes.

Quality Vs. Quantity

Social media marketing and mobile media devices are all about creating personal relationships with niche-specific audiences. It’s important to remember that the goal is not to engage millions of people simultaneously; it is to take smaller groups and get them actively engaged in what you’re promoting. It’s about creating a buzzed-up movement. And when you do so, you need to be able to continue delivering the relevant, quality information that your audiences crave.

Remember the following tips concerning social media marketing:

The sales process in Internet Marketing revolves around providing personalized, relevant care for each consumer – not about just flooding your social sites with content;

Social media engagement is all about offering value – and then creating active movements that build momentum with time;

You need to engage prospective consumers and then keep them active by providing them with useful tools to help spread your messages;

Keep your approach multifaceted by leveraging the power of mobile media devices;

Stay on top of your efforts to provide ready and efficient communication. Take the time to respond to each request and comment that you receive

By embracing the unbridled power of social media marketing – and compounding that power with mobile media devices – you can provide optimal care for your niche-targeted customers.

The business world revolves around capital. Venture capital is what kicks off the business in the first place. Future capital is what is generated by the product or service or by further investments by the partners. Without venture, the business will never get off the ground and will remain just an idea in your head. Without future capital, you will find yourself having to close your doors because you just cannot afford to remain in business. Money may be important, but it certainly is not the only type or form of capital that there is to be found or used in the business world.

There are actually several kinds of capital that you will need to learn about on your path to financial success. Mental capital, or the ability to learn and absorb new information keeps you from repeating old mistakes over and over again. Perhaps you know that your strengths are with the people aspect of business, but that one of your investors is a mathematic whiz. Instead of struggling every day to reconcile your numbers and possibly creating costly errors, you may choose to have the numbers whiz, investor handle the books from now on- as an investor he is interested in your company’s continued success. You have created a beneficial relationship; you are on your way to gaining relationship capital.

As you continue on with your business, you may find that you are creating and strengthening relationships in different ways. For instance, you may find that a certain distributor in one office can get you better deals if you work with him directly. He knows how to get the right kind of deals that save you money so that you can pass those savings on to your consumers through sales and special promotions. You are working on gaining social capital by building these relationships. For every distributor or other that you can gain benefits from is another chance to build social capital. In return, you will continue to give that distributor your business, because it is beneficial to you as well.

Human capital, like social capital can be very important in growing and developing your business. When you are building strong relationships, you are strengthening your company as well. Human capital can take the form of excellent customer service, or the ability to relate to all of your employees as individuals. Sometimes all of the money in the world will not help a failing business is one of the other capitals are lacking. The powers that be are stuck in a rut and will not learn new information or new ways to do anything, so they are doomed to continually repeat their same failures and miscues over and over.

If the capital forms are not in some kind of balance, there will be problems throughout the company. Mental capital will teach new skills, social capital will build and strengthen relationships. The more adept you are at handling the different forms of capital, the better you are able to adapt and adjust to changes, the more likely you will be succeed in the business world.

Everything that you do for your customers should have some inherent value added to it. You are selling a product that you would like to become quite popular, unless yours is the only one like it in the entire world, you must compete with others who are selling similar products as well. Perhaps, one of you will edge others out by offering the biggest selection of these items. Perhaps another will find their market edge by selling in select markets only. And still others may manage to undercut their competition by selling at the lowest possible prices. However, one important need and value is being overlooked: the good care of each customer.

When a customer expresses interest in your product or service, they are expressing interest in your company and by default, in you. In the world of internet marketing there may be times where a million transactions can be carried out without a single human connection being made. On the other hand, there may be days where the technology itself is faulty and you will field hundreds, thousands or millions of calls from bewildered consumers. By providing excellent service at this point, you are adding value to the product that the customers are interested in, an inherent quality that perhaps no one else offers as well. How many times have you been forced to choose between two similar products with comparable prices: what is the deciding factor in your final choice? The human quality may be what edges out the others- even if it means spending an extra few bucks. Remember: most people are willing to spend a little more to be treated specially.

The bottom line to selling is creating a need for consumers. You need them to need your products and services. You need them to want to come back time and time again. Just having a great product at a reasonable price is not enough in the super competitive market places today. The edge is going to come down to the old-fashioned personal touch, even in the global, computerized world of today.

Once you have created a driving need for the products, you start to add value to your customers by treating them with a little extra care- what does it cost you to say Good Morning to a caller, even if you know the caller is going to complain? It does not cost a dime, but what does it give you in return? Perhaps a customer who was calling to complain because they were unhappy about a small detail walks away with their complaint resolved, product and discount in hand and still a loyal customer. You have saved a sale, practically ensured another sale as well and you invested nothing more than a bit of time, a cheerful greeting and a discounted amount on a product. (Your marketing budgeting should be flexible enough to take these types of transactions into account anyway). In essence, you have spent nothing at all.

The human quality in business is often lacking, especially when all marketing, sales and other transactions are handled online. Even a cheery email to say thank you for a past sale that invites the customer to a future sales event is more than just a good idea, it is imperative.

Click Above Headline To See Video…

This world is filled with opportunities for those that understand the vast importance of developing brand equity. Regardless of the current economic conditions, you have every right to choose what you want to dedicate your time and effort to – and enjoy your life instead of being miserable. If you care about creating success, then you have to do more than simply listen to your community. If you want to effectively brand yourself and your business, then you have to actually care about each member of your communities. Everybody listens, but very few people take action. You actually need to spend time answering emails, addressing questions and showing that you care in every way that you can think of.

Social networking is shaping the way that all businesses grow now!

Take a minute to look at yourself in your mirror and ask yourself exactly what it is that you want to do every day for the rest of your life. Ask yourself what you really care about. Face the facts and learn to discern what will make you happy in this life – as opposed to what will continue to make you unhappy. And then do that! If something appeals to you to the degree that you can actually see doing it every day for the rest of your life, then you definitely can make money at it.

You can monetize any idea that you’re passionate about – and that you are willing to be patient with. Even if the mainstream population has no interest in what you’re promoting, the non-mainstream population will eat it up. You are building a business! You need to develop brand equity. You need to hustle. You need to give every bit of energy that you have. You need to stay up late and rise early. You need to give up nights of partying for nights of work. You need to rise above your competition by doing what they will not.

Monetize your ideas with patience and persistence!

You must have a business model. Remember that the legacy that you’re creating is of the utmost importance. In this age of electronic informational transference, nothing will ever be forgotten. Anything and everything that you do online will be available for every single person to see for the rest of eternity. Pay attention to what you are doing. Add quality to everything that you do. From each word that you write, to each picture that you present, to each product that you promote – keep your mind focused on quality. Keep your mind focused on building brand equity.

If there is even one second that you do not fully believe in your personal brand – in what you are promoting – then you need to get out of it and do something else immediately. You need to understand that you are engaged in business – not a game. And, you need to understand that the realm of business is changing dramatically and quickly. Traditional vehicles for informational transference such as television, radio and newspapers are no longer in control. You need to take advantage of that fact and begin to develop brand equity today. Set your own rules. Create your own playing field. Be a leader.

Learn more today about the amazing power of social networking and about how it can affect your personal branding efforts. Creating success is more distinctly possible than ever before. Face the future boldly. Shape your life and recognize your goals as only you can!

Personal branding and brand identity are concepts that you need to become familiar with. Creating your own brand is of profound importance in today’s business world. Additionally, your personal brand is in consistent development – whether you realize it or not. Everything that you do, everything that you say, everything that makes you an individual, is constantly being recorded. Your brand identity is the total meshing of what you cause other people to think and feel about you.

Your personal brand identity affects every area of your life. The Internet has been integrated into every avenue of our personal and professional lives. As we endeavor to generate money and enhance our business dealings, we realize the critical importance of effective personal branding.

In order to benefit maximally from your personal branding efforts, ask yourself the following questions:

➢ Am I developing my online presence based on expertise and quality?
➢ Do I consistently strive to improve the concepts that I represent?
➢ Is my appearance representative of the personal branding goals that I have set?
➢ Do my company logo, business cards and other marketing tools send the right messages out?
➢ Do I maintain a consistency between my various online social networking site profiles?

More questions to ask yourself about creating your own brand:

➢ Do I take the time regularly to consider my core competencies and values?
➢ Do I demonstrate mixed messages between the various communication platforms that I utilize?
➢ Do I take the time to monitor my online reputation?
➢ Do I respond to the feedback that I receive from others on my social networking websites?
➢ Am I honest and forthright in whenever I represent online?

Personal branding is about dictating the thoughts and emotions that you instill in others. They want you to be honest with them. Your brand identity is constantly evolving and is a part of permanent history. Whatever you create within the minds of others is going to last for years and years. Make sure that you are creating your own brand in the manners that you would choose to. In a large way, it will determine your personal and financial successes in the future.

Personal branding is the overall effect that you have on others. It’s what they remember about you or your organization after they have left your company or clicked away from your website. Many people have misconceptions concerning personal branding and are led by various personal branding myths that, in effect, are costing them a lot of money in the long run. The foundations for modern business success are based dominantly on effective branding efforts. Let’s look of some myths concerning branding:

Four personal branding myths:

1)	Not everybody is able to become successful.
a.	This is untrue. No matter who you are, what disadvantages you are experiencing, where you’re from, the color of your skin, or anything else – in this modern and wired world, you have every bit as much of a chance of succeeding as anybody else on the planet.
2)	Personal branding has only to do with you.
a.	This is completely false. In fact, personal branding has everything to do with everybody, especially those that encounter you. Your personal brand is totally reliant upon what you make other people think about you. It’s how you impact them. Without other people, your personal brand would not exist.
3)	Some people just do not have personal brands.
a.	Again untrue. Everybody on the planet has a personal brand. Think about anybody that you know right now. Certain things about that person will come to mind first. That is their brand. They have branded themselves in your mind in a particular manner. Everybody has a personal brand.
4)	A person’s personal brand is simply how they manage their image.
a.	Guess what – that’s false as well. While your image certainly does count, there are loads of other personal attributes to consider. Your personal brand is the overall representation of your thoughts, core competencies, experiences, beliefs, values and actions. It is what you say. It is the look in your eyes. It’s everything about you put together.

Assessing personal branding effectiveness:

➢	Make a list of your personal attributes and then ask yourself which of those you would like to improve.
➢	Think about how your friends describe you to others. Better yet, ask your friends how they describe you to others. Tell them to be honest.
➢	Think about the things that you like to do the most in your free time. What excites you? What do you truly enjoy?
➢	Think about the subjects that you have always enjoyed studying. Which type of topics to you find easy to delve into?
➢	What is your personal definition of success during this life? What is it that you feel that you’re actually here to accomplish?

Remember that everything you do is contributing to the development of your personal brand. By avoiding personal branding myths and taking the time to regularly access your branding effectiveness, you will increase your overall happiness in life – and your ability to generate appreciable revenue streams. Personal branding affects everybody. It is the comprehensive summation of how you cause other people to feel about you.

Finding your passion in life is profoundly important for the effective development of your personal branding efforts. Business and passion are completely interrelated in today’s modern, technologically-advanced society. It simply no longer realistic to think that an individual can go through the course of their career in the work world without representing their personal passions. You will find it impossible to be successful at personal branding if you’re not representing the ideas, products, services, beliefs, experiences and philosophical foundations that make you who you are.

If your desire is to develop a strong, unique personal brand, then you simply have to realize the necessity of discovering what you were born to do!

Finding your passion is about more than just asking yourself what you’re good at. In fact, you can very well be good at many things, but may lack the capacity to ever become great at them. The fact that you can cook up a mean steak on the grill certainly does not imply that you’re Chef Gordon Ramsey.

In the book Good to Great, author Jim Collins introduces the concept of “The curse of competence”. In a nutshell, it states that many people, all people in fact, have certain skill sets that they have developed quite well. However, our genetic programming determines the one or two things that we have the capacity to actually become excellent at.

So you see, it’s not enough to simply be passionate about something; business and passion gel together best when you also have an exceptional aptitude to represent your passion.

Personal branding is all about representing the best of who you are freely – and then backing it up. It’s about creating long-lasting memories in the minds of others about yourself or your organization. And no matter how you try, if you’re not passionate about which are representing, it will show through. People just won’t believe you. Additionally, even if you truly enjoy what you are representing, but you do not truly have an aptitude to be great at it, again you will fail.

Explore your passions and your abilities simultaneously. Discover what you are here on this planet to do – and then offer to share that freely with everybody else in order to be effective at personal branding. When you find what makes you effortlessly comfortable, you will be able to relax – and that is where you will start truly benefiting from a meshing of business and passion. Your journey into personal branding is a circular one, not linear. You need to constantly return to the exploration and discovery phase of life. Be honest with yourself when finding your passion. Ask yourself if something that your passion about is actually able to be used for revenue generation as well. If the answer is no, discover more passions.

What is it about yourself that makes you great? What is it that capacitates you to generate revenue -and that you would like to share with the world? When you discover where business and passion intersect, you will have found what it is that will make you not only financially rich, but rich in spirit as well.

Personal branding techniques, when applied appropriately, have the power to rocket your business, or simply your personal life, into higher levels of operational efficiency – and profit. Building a brand identity and creating brand recognition are profound concepts that must be given your direct and diligent attention. Your personal brand is the overall representation that other people perceive about you. It is what they remember even after they surf away from your website or leave your home. It’s how you make people feel.

Personal branding for you and/or your organization needs to be based on bringing out the very best that you have to offer. All of the attributes, knowledge and skills that you have need to be represented while creating brand recognition.

Personal branding is not reserved for industry leaders; building a brand identity is for every entrepreneur and individual equally!

You do not have to be a CEO of a major corporation in order to benefit from personal branding. Every person that’s attempting to create revenue in any way can benefit hugely from creating brand recognition. Even if you do not represent any products, services or even information, you still need to give regular effort to effective personal branding. You need to let people know who you are and what you are about.

Building a brand identity for yourself and/or your business is your way to represent your values, your core competencies – in short, what you stand for – and what you have to offer. The reality of our economy is that people no longer begin a job when they’re fresh out of high school, stay with it for 30 to 35 years and then retire happily with no more monetary concerns. That is just not the case anymore. You need to begin today to brand yourself.

McDonald’s employees, disrespected college interns, Marines in Iraq, CEOs and our country’s esteemed politicians (yeah right) all need to consistently work on their personal branding endeavors. This is a wired planet and you need to get plugged in. Creating brand recognition, for individuals as much as for businesses, is a profoundly important concept.

By becoming aware of who you are and what you stand for, and then representing that to the world through your personal branding efforts, you bring out the best in yourself. And that is truly liberating no matter who you are or how you make your money.

Effectively building a brand identity has to do with much more than simply having some stationary embossed with a company logo. Your perspective clients need more than that – a lot more! They need to know that they can trust you and your organization implicitly. They want you to provide them with products, services and/or information that is relevant to their needs. And they need you to be very consistent as well.

The brand image that you present through your online brand marketing endeavors remains in the minds of your visitors long after they leave your website. You need to utilize your entire website to create and present a message of deeply-integrated value. Although your brand identity includes the image that you present, the overall graphical look of your website and your logo, it is more than all of that put together.

Your brand identity is the overall summation of what people remember about you and your organization.

And once you establish your brand image in the minds of your customers, you cannot remove it. The information that we all receive on a daily basis infiltrates our minds acutely. Our lives are affected constantly from print ads, television ads, major motion pictures – and especially websites. We are all receiving multiple messages at every given moment. And we all respond to these messages in different fashions. When you are building a brand, you need to be aware of that. In order to create the best brand image for your business, you need to ask yourself the following questions:

➢ Specifically, which people am I targeting?
➢ Am I providing high-quality content that is directly relevant to my targeted niches’ desires?
➢ When visitors browse my website, are they able to find what they’re after easily?
➢ Does my website load speedily and perform well?
➢ Am I providing my targeted niches with something that is unique and of importance?

Remember that building a brand for your business needs to be well thought out. A memorable, effective brand identity will be one that shows unique differences when compared to those of your competitors. Direct your brand marketing endeavors at creating a one of a kind brand image that your perspective customers will be compelled to remember.

Understanding the importance of core competencies, and the difference between competencies and values, can make or break you in the realm of Internet Marketing. Creating a fluid environment where your values and competencies complement one another is imperative for your success. These attributes, if properly honed, will work in conjunction to make your efforts for personal image marketing very effective.

What are core competencies?

Your core competencies are the strengths that you possess currently in your life. They are those areas where your knowledge is the most substantial. They are those areas that you have developed great skill in. Your core competencies are those elements about your person that you are already qualified as an expert in. We are all experts at something. You probably already have a very good idea of what your core competencies are.

What are core values?

Your core values are your ethical standards. They are what you stand for. They are moralistic representations of what you believe in. For most of us, it is necessary and important to spend some time defining core values. Many times, we go through life just assuming that we know what we stand for without actually ever putting forth any effort to develop our values as we would dictate them.

Developing core competencies:

The importance of core competencies is so profound that it cannot be overlooked. When you have strength in a given area, it gives you a strategic marketing advantage. There are millions of people around the planet that need to benefit from your expertise. You need to spend time developing your core competencies so that you are the best at what you do. The more you develop your skills and strengths, the more effective you will be at generating revenue with them.

Defining core values:

In Internet Marketing, you have to brand yourself. Personal image marketing techniques can deliver amazing results – as long as you develop a master plan for the overall branding of yourself and your company. Take some time to think about the core values that you want your company to be perceived as representing. You have to be the one to dictate what others will see and feel when they experience your marketing efforts. You have to control what your perspective clientele will perceive you and your company as being.

Understanding the importance of core competencies and core values, and how they need to work in conjunction, is profoundly important for your entrepreneurial success. Give intentional thought and effort towards developing both of these sets of attributes and always remain at the helm controlling the direction of your business’s development.
